I could say that my name was,...say, ROBIN, and that I had a fake nose, fake chin fake breasts, frizzy hair and bucked teeth. That doesn't make it so, now does it? Thank God.

Don't see him do much at council meetings. As he lives on Parde Island I can understand why he believes Packery channel is such a great idea. When are henry and the rest of the council going to find high paying jobs for Corpus Christi. If all we get are boat passes,hotels,bars than only minimum pay will follow. We can not continue paying high city,ccicd and county TAXES on this pay scale. Austin and San Antonio have gone out and brought high skill workes to there cities thats where all of our young people are moving. Ever check out the empty office space here?

Just help the big money boys.As far Ms. Copper, all of the people talking about all the bars she goes to, how do you know all of this unless you are right there with her. What this town needs is jobs that pay a wage of around 11.00 to 12.00 dollars per hour. Bringing in more hotels, bars for the out of towners won't bring that type of pay for people. The only ones that will make money are the big boys.

Yet we complain about $1.50...if you can find the money somewhere else, I am sure the City will be happy to get it. And, my children go to private school, we pay tuition and taxes...that's life. Hey, I am all for tax increases for special needs such a the sea wall repairs and other capital improvements! BUT...when the work is completed and the bills are paid...give back the tax increase!!! This is how big government is created...think about it...a 20 million bond issue and tax increase for numerous projects...what happens to the money when the projects are done and the bills are paid???? It goes into the operating budget for the city!!!! THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

Wow thing happen when ya least expect it !On a summer afternoon last year some coworkers and I had just finished with Lunch and had been entertained by for several hours POLICE officers with a SPEED TRAP on Louisiana at Alameda and for several we saw at least 50-60 cars get pulled over and given tickets for SPEEDING MS.Coopper. As we were getting back to work we Saw a bright RED MUSTANG turned on to Louisiana HAULING ASS towards the 2 COPPS on Motocycles.We wanted to see what they would do to this person,AS they lunged into the street to pull this car over I noticed this person was Melody Coopper they came over to her Car and talked to Her for a while and LET HER MAJISTY GO! She's not contributing. My feeling is that she's in it for self agrandizement. On May 27, 1998, she took a trip to Paris. That same date the council was scheduled to vote on the new City Manager. She was absent for that vote. At the time, she was my representative on the council. Effectively, by her absence she denied all her constituents representation on this very important issue.

After reading his ranting today, it is obvious that he is scared to death that the imploding of the city is happening on his watch. Speaking not as a member of his favorite heat sink (the Taxpayer's Association), it might be the case that if the council looks in the mirror they may not see the CCTPA but themselves. If Lord Neal and the Council had any good ideas that improved the city they would not have to blame the CCTPA. They are just angry that they haven't fixed anything since coming to office and want to blame someone else for their failures. Buffoonish if you axe me. Ought to Packery them all up in a bundle and use them as fill for the seawall repair.

I've moved to Corpus about 9 months ago. And all I would like to know is- How did this monky ever get elected? hasn't anyone ever heard him speak? When he does say something, it makes no sense and has no point. Get him off the island better yet get him of the Council and my be this city can start to move forward. I threw Camaca's name in there because I've heard her on your show and must say you can do a lot better than that. Plus I see her with Colmanero all the time, so she will obviously be a spokes man for him when the time comes.

I have more respect for someone who has something to say and can say it clearly and dicisively. Even if their views may differ from mine. However its Javier's inability to make a point when speeking or even taking a stand on a issue that marks him for bahnishment. I mean what idiot would march with a group who is marching against the Caller Times and then make a speech on behalf of the Caller Times. What a dumb ass! Unfortunately we can't run him and all his kind out of the city. Its dim wits like him and even your side kick camaCHA! that have held our city back.

She was a major part of the tax and spend council and still has that mentality. She is all talk and no real action. She has failed to represent her constituents and has often sold the Northwest CC sside of town out in favor for more improvements to southside because Rhodes wanted her to. She also failed to keep tabs on what was happening to the Leopard St. improvements and lied to me and others in saying that the improvements were underway in 1997 and would be finished by 2000. Of corse we all saw that Oscar wanna-be performance in early 1999 when she found out there was no money left from the bond to do the improvements. I had asked her Sept. 1998 as to where were the improvements
she had promised would happen and she gave me a song and dance about how it was in planning with engineering. She is an example of the incopentence of the so-called 'leadership' of CC. If the Northwest CC area had its own representation (like Flour Bluff does) she wouldn't have been re-elected in '98. Lago talks about lack of responsibility in city government...she's a prime example...but because of Paul doesn't have the guts to say so. Oh, she's afraid to accept my phone calls also.
